The house we stayed at during our new year in Kyoto had a great location, only a few minutes away from a large shopping mall and train station. This made getting around very easy and convenient. the house itself was clean and very well equipped, with a beautiful interior design. We especially enjoyed the fully equipped kitchen and the cozy living room, which made our stay much more comfortable. the quiet and safe neighborhood made us feel like we were living like a local.
The ceilings were quite low and there was very little heat outside of the main rooms, making it quite cold during the winter season. We also had some difficulties figuring out how to properly control the heater as the instructions were only in Japanese.

We loved the location of this traditional Japanese-style house. It was close to the train station and had easy transportation options. The hotel facilities were clean and well-maintained, especially the fully-equipped kitchen and the private garden.
Can't fault the hotel in any way.

The location of the hotel is quite convenient as it is near the train station and a shopping mall. the rooms are clean, and the Japanese style bedding is comfortable. the staff speaks English and is professional. the hotel provides a laundry facility, which is quite handy.
The heaters and air conditioners in the room are difficult to operate and have no instructions in other languages besides Japanese.

Okay, the place was nice and quiet, so it was easy to work without any disturbances. I appreciated the convenience of the location, with shopping and transportation nearby. The rooms were spacious and well-equipped, though there was no housekeeping.
The heating during my stay wasn't great; it was pretty cold outside and there were no extra blankets to keep me warm.
